Buy Honey Bees

We have limited supplies of honey bees to buy in the spring and early summer. Whether for replacing bee stocks within your existing beehives, or starting up beekeeping for the first time, we can provide healthy honey bees for sale. We can supply a five frame nucleus on British standard frames. The honey bees are supplied in a polystyrene transport box, which provides a comfortable environment for the bees, with good ventilation to ensure the honey bees for sale have plenty of air during transportation. The brood frames have a laying queen honey bee, worker bees and stores.

An advantage of buying honey bees from us during the spring is that the bees are healthy and have proved to be strong enough to have survived the cold weather during the winter. This goes a long way to ensuring that the nucleus of bees you buy will produce a good crop of honey. We have sourced our honey bees from well established colonies that have traditionally produced bees which give a good yield of honey, a low tendency to swarm, are disease free and resistant and are calm on the combs when you are working with your beehives. The honey bees are fully DEFRA inspected to ensure they are disease free, active and healthy.

We can arrange local or national delivery of the honey bees we have for sale, with rapid transportation to ensure the bees arrive safely and in good condition. We sell bees in a brood box with adequate ventilation, and bees will be quite happy being transported in this way over a short period.
